25 accessible cabins, and they cluster
Among 1,467 staterooms. The accessible Edge staterooms with Infinite Veranda are grouped on Deck 8; the two accessible suites are on Deck 11; accessible inside cabins sit on decks 9 to 11. Knowing that in advance tells you where you'll be living before you book — ask for the specific cabin number.
What's in an accessible cabin here
- Automatic wide entry door and no doorsills into the stateroom.
- Ramped bathroom threshold, grab bars, roll-in shower with a fold-down bench.
- Lowered sink, vanity and closet rods, and accessible verandas.
- Accessible Edge staterooms run about 304 square feet plus a 65 square foot veranda — larger than the standard cabin, which is the turning space you're paying for.
- Celebrity requires the Guest Special Needs Form for these categories.
The Magic Carpet, and the fleet rules
- The Magic Carpet moves between decks 2 and 16 and is used as a tender platform, which makes boarding a tender better arranged here than on most ships.
- Celebrity's corridors are built for 180-degree wheelchair turns, most decks have automatic doors, and public rooms use gradual inclines rather than steps.
- Accessible cabin doors are at least 32 inches. If your device is wider than that, Celebrity asks you to contact their Access Department before sailing.
- Crew are not permitted to lift assistive devices — a fleet-wide rule worth planning around, not discovering at the gangway.
Scooters must live in your cabin
Celebrity requires assistive devices to be stored and charged inside the stateroom, so corridors and lift lobbies stay clear for evacuation. That's another reason the larger accessible cabin matters: a scooter has to fit in it with you.

- Ask for the exact accessible cabin number and its deck, since they cluster on 8 and 11.
- Ask how the Magic Carpet will be used for tendering on your itinerary.
- Ask whether your mobility device fits the 32-inch door, and contact the Access Department if it's wider.
- Submit the Guest Special Needs Form about 30 days before sailing.
