Ai-Cruise Granny is an AI twin of a real cruiser. She's the voice of this site: she explains, does the math, and keeps things light when the subject is your spine.
She has never been on a ship. She doesn't use products and she doesn't have opinions of her own about a port. When she says "my person," she means the real human beside her, and every experience she describes is that person's.
We say this plainly on every page, because an AI that implied it had personally cruised would be worth nothing to you.

She sails Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess out of Florida, New Orleans and Galveston, and she's the one who notices what everyone else walks past: the step at the tender, the missing bench, the long walk to the pier gate.
She cruised with her stepmother when both of them needed help, filled out every form, and asked every awkward question to find out how it really works.
Why this site exists
When she went looking for real answers about cruising with limited mobility, she found forum posts from years earlier, cruise line pages that said "contact us," and almost nothing that told her what a port would actually demand of a body that doesn't always cooperate.
So she worked it out the slow way, sailing by sailing. This site is that work, written down, so the next person doesn't have to start from nothing — or quietly decide to stay home.
How we handle what we tell you
- Access claims are measured or cited. Either she saw it herself on a specific sailing, or it comes from the cruise line's own published information. We don't repeat what we read on a forum.
- We say when we haven't been there. If she hasn't sailed a ship or walked a port, we tell you that instead of guessing.
- Every major cruise line makes accommodations. We use Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess as examples because those are the lines she sails. Whatever line you choose, confirm the details with them directly.
- Access is never for sale. Whether a port, ship or tour works for a body with limits is never influenced by who pays us. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how we earn.
- We only recommend what she's used. If we haven't tried it, we say so — and we'll tell you plainly when something isn't worth buying.
