Where each claim comes from
- Firsthand. Distances, surfaces, seating, shade and how a gangway actually felt come from sailings, and we name the ship and the date.
- Published sources. Accessible cabin counts, lift numbers, parking rates, deadlines and policies come from the cruise line or the port, and we link them at the bottom of the page.
- Reader reports. Corrections from people who have just sailed. We check them before publishing, and we credit by first name only unless asked not to.
What “last checked” means
Every port, ship and departure page carries a date. It means someone re-read the page against current published sources on that date and corrected anything that had changed. It does not mean someone sailed that week.
Where a page has firsthand detail, the sailing date is named separately in the text. The two dates are different things and we keep them apart on purpose.

Things that will always be wrong somewhere. Prices change without notice, terminal assignments change close to sailing, and whether a port docks or tenders can change between visits. That's why every page tells you to confirm with your cruise line, and why we'd rather you treat us as a starting point than a guarantee.
What we won't do
- We won't invent a number. Where a figure isn't published clearly — Celebrity Reflection's accessible cabin count, for instance — the page says so and tells you to ask the line.
- We won't let money decide an access claim. Whether a port, ship or tour works for a body with limits is never influenced by who pays us. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
- We won't use photographs we didn't take to suggest we've been somewhere we haven't.
- We won't give medical advice. A healthcare background helps us ask better questions. It doesn't make this an assessment of what you can safely manage.
Found something wrong?
Tell us which page, what it says, what you found instead, and the ship, port and date you sailed. We'll check it and correct the page, and we'll date the correction.
