Published counts vary between sources — Royal's own figures and third-party deck plans differ slightly — but it's in the region of 26 to 27 wheelchair-accessible staterooms among about 1,690. Confirm the exact category and cabin number in writing when you book.
Getting around the ship
- 14 lifts serve 14 passenger decks, with nine of them holding cabins. Fewer than an Oasis ship, but far shorter distances to cover.
- The Royal Promenade runs about 390 feet down the middle of the ship, four decks high, with a Centrum atrium at each end. It's flat, wide and lined with places to sit — genuinely useful if you need to break a journey.
- She's 1,020 feet long, against a fleet average of about 1,085 — noticeably less ship to cross than Wonder or Utopia.
What she has, and what that costs you
- Refurbished in 2016 and 2018 with waterslides, new restaurants and over 100 added cabins, including spa staterooms forward on Deck 12.
- An ice rink, a FlowRider and a water park — more activity than a Radiance ship, less than an Oasis one.
- She's from 2001, so accessible cabins were designed to earlier standards. Ask what's actually fitted in the specific cabin rather than assuming.
Why mid-size often wins
The two things that cost people most are distance and queueing. A Voyager-class ship cuts the distance sharply against an Oasis ship while keeping 14 lifts and a full set of venues. If you're choosing between sizes and can't decide, this is the class to look at first.

- Ask how many accessible cabins are actually available on your date, since published counts differ.
- Ask what's fitted in that specific cabin — an older ship varies more than a new one.
- Ask how tendering is handled on your itinerary and whether your device can board.
